The hostel had a great location with a 7 Eleven right across the street. There were plenty of food and drink options within a short walk. the street it was located on was quiet and safe. the staff were helpful and friendly, and the facilities were modern and clean.
The location was a fair distance away from many nearby train stations. the bunk beds got very cold at night, making it difficult to sleep comfortably.

The hotel had a nice design and was very clean. The lobby had plenty of seating areas and a small communal kitchen. The staff cleaning the rooms were friendly and helpful. The location was great, close to the train station and within walking distance of many bars and restaurants. The breakfast, although basic, was a nice addition to the stay.
The check-in process was somewhat confusing and lacked human interaction. There was a lack of information provided regarding the rooms and facilities, and it was necessary to seek out staff for assistance.

Convenient location with nearby 24/7 convenience stores and supermarkets. The beds were clean and comfortable, providing a good night's sleep. The self-check-in system was modern and efficient, allowing for a quick and easy check-in process.
The lack of information and guidance upon check-in made it difficult to navigate the hotel. There were some issues with cleanliness, especially in the shower rooms, with broken shelves and guests not following the rule of taking off shoes.

The beds were comfortable and well-designed, with a handy compartment to store small belongings. The location was convenient, with two train stations within a 10-15 minute walk. I also enjoyed the breakfast, which was simple but practical.
The hostel did not provide towels or amenities for free, which was a bit inconvenient. It would have been great if the lockers were larger to accommodate laptops and bigger bags.

I stayed at Unplan Shinjuku for a week during my visit to Tokyo. The check-in process was convenient with individual passcodes for each guest. The modern and stylish interior, along with brand new furniture, added to the overall appeal of the hotel. The common room on the first floor provided a great space to relax. The location in a quieter side of Shinjuku made me feel safe, especially at night. Additionally, there were plenty of nearby restaurants and supermarkets.
Would recommend this hotel.
